Friendship author, blogger and speaker Christine Mabon will discuss the significance of friendships during a FREE program at Cuyahoga Falls Library on Tuesday, July 7 at 6:30 p.m. Mabon encourages people of all ages to maintain different kinds of friendships and make them a priority throughout their lives. Mabon will discuss her husband's fatal heart attack at age 44 and the wonderful, generous friends who sustained her during that difficult time. For more information, call 330-928-2117.

The library's board of trustees recently took the first step toward a project that will renovate the building's lower level. The goal is to update and improve services in the children's department, as well as make more efficient use of other space. Please take a few minutes to review the initial plan. The library is governed by an eleven member Board of Trustees. The board meets at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday of every month except January. Meetings are open to the public. Stop by to meet board members in person, observe proceedings, and address the group directly during the public portion.
