Make a festive holiday topiary to make your Christmas merry with Yvonne Simia of Pat Catan's. Materials fee of $15-all supplies are furnished. A finished centerpiece is on display in the library office. Registration is requested.

Murder and Mayhem in Akron and Summit County

Monday, December 3 at 7 p.m.

Meet with local author, historian and paranormal researcher, Jeri Holland to explore her new book about the darker side of life and death in our neck of the woods. The history of Akron and Summit County stretches back over 200 years and in that time many of its citizens have schemed, murdered, injured or otherwise been up to no good against against their fellow man. Copies of Jeri's books will be available for purchase and signing.

Ohio's Women and the Civil War Home Front

Join members of the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society and their special guest speaker, Dr. Kelly Selby. Dr. Selby's presentation will spotlight Ohio women's activities on the home front, focusing largely on Soldiers Aid Societies and the Sanitary Fairs in Cleveland and Cincinnati.
