How did “games” become a major business and civic enterprise? This illustrated presentation outlines the history of major sports in Cleveland, touching upon some of the area’s most noted sports heroes while also examining the manner in which games became a central part of the region’s economy. With Dr. John Grabowski, Senior VP of Research and Krieger Mueller Historian at Western Reserve Historical Society.

Free Comic Book Day

Free Comic Book Day is a single day - the first Saturday in May each year - when participating locations across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely FREE. Stop by the library on May 3 beginning at 9 a.m. to pick up your free comic book while supplies last.

Teen Advisory Board

Members of the Teen Advisory Board plan programs for other teens, select books, movies and music for the teen collection, and work towards making this library a fun and safe place for other teens to come and enjoy.
