David Allison will tell you why Johnson's Island on Lake Erie was chosen as a Confederate POW Camp for officers and who was in charge. Find out what prison life was like, how men tried to escape, and see the prison cemetery. Find out why so many of the guards died from a disease and why the prisoners didn't get the disease. Allison had a relative that was a guard on Johnson's Island and possibly another there that was a prisoner.)
