The budget will remain tentative into the summer, when the state will pass its new biennial budget. You can read more about the budget in the Falls News-Press or on our funding and budget page, where you can find out more about our funding and view the budget.

Faced with decreasing state support for libraries, you, the voters, passed a 1.3 mill levy in 2006 to keep our library functioning. That 5-year levy is ending and state support continues to decrease. Issue #16 replaces the 2006 levy, costing $1.12 per week on a $100,000 house - little more than 25¢ more per week than the 2006 levy. For more information see the levy facts page and the Falls Library Supporters' web site.
