Antiques Appraisals

Tuesday, May 5, 6:30 pm
Bring your favorite antique to the library and have it appraised by local expert Jason Adams during this popular library program. Each participant can bring one individual item or one small collection of related items. Register in person, online, or by calling 330-928-2117. Spectators are welcome and do not need to register.

Renovation Survey Results

Thank you to everyone who completed the survey about our proposed lower level renovations. We were pleased to learn that 81% of respondents were supportive of the project. Spring Book Sale

Friends of Cuyahoga Falls Library will host their spring book sale on Friday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. and Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Browse a large selection of novels, non-fiction books, children’s books, audio books, parenting resources, cookbooks, CDs, movies, puzzles and more.

Ohio Digital Library

With the Ohio Digital Library, you can borrow and enjoy free eBooks, audiobooks, videos and music from the library. All you need to get started is a compatible device, an internet connection and an active library card.  read more »

Victorian Gardens with Laura Loew

April 14, 7 p.m.
Uncover secrets of Grandmother’s garden, including formalized, structured plantings and more naturalized cottage gardens. Includes a list of Victorian favorites available today. Antique seed catalogs, gardening books, and other accessories will be shown. Free!

Youth Poetry Contest

Entry forms are available in the children’s department for this annual contest, which is sponsored by the library and The Poet's Nook during National Poetry Month. Cash prizes will be awarded in April for age groups 6 to 8, 9 to 11 and 12 to 14. Deadline for submission is April 30.

Renovation Project Update

The library's board of trustees recently took the first step toward a project that will renovate the building's lower level. The goal is to update and improve services in the children's department, as well as make more efficient use of other space. Please take a few minutes to review the initial plan. Brian Henke Concert

Wed., Feb. 18, 7 p.m.
As much musical shaman as musician, performing on both acoustic six string and 28 string harp guitar, virtuoso multi award winning guitarist Brian Henke plays his music with passion and grace. He delivers sweeping, moving, grand magic with a flourish of just downright amazing guitar wizardry. Registration is appreciated but not required. Free!
