Victorian Gardens with Laura Loew

Book Sale Update

A few community members have suggested that our proposed renovations will place the biannual book sales in jeopardy. This rumor is false. With the community's support, we hope to continue these popular events for many years to come. Library Closed on April 5

The library will be closed on Sunday, April 5 in observance of Easter. We will reopen at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 6.

Youth Poetry Contest

Entry forms are available in the children’s department for this annual contest, which is sponsored by the library and The Poet's Nook during National Poetry Month. Cash prizes will be awarded in April for age groups 6 to 8, 9 to 11 and 12 to 14. Deadline for submission is March 31.

Renovation Project Update

The library's board of trustees recently took the first step toward a project that will renovate the building's lower level. The goal is to update and improve services in the children's department, as well as make more efficient use of other space. Please take a few minutes to review the initial plan.  read more »

Brian Henke Concert

Wed., Feb. 18, 7 p.m.
As much musical shaman as musician, performing on both acoustic six string and 28 string harp guitar, virtuoso multi award winning guitarist Brian Henke plays his music with passion and grace. He delivers sweeping, moving, grand magic with a flourish of just downright amazing guitar wizardry. Registration is appreciated but not required. Free!

Tax Forms

Due to budget cuts, the IRS will no longer provide tax form instruction booklets at public libraries. We will still have the 1040, 1040A and 1040EZ tax forms.
